outlook connector not displaying html e-mail

Hello! I Received an email from the windows live hotmail team regarding the
change to outlook connector. The mail is in HTML format. But when I
downloaded it using the outlook connector it only diusplays the html code
with thags and everytihng. Do I have some setting wrong? Thanks!

One common cause of this is scanning incoming mail with an antivirus scanner.
If you do this, uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail
scanning feature. You will be just as protected.
 
I wish this was an option but I cannot uninstall the virus scanner as I am on
my company's computer. To be honest I don't even thing the Trend Micro
OfficeScan SW is scanning my e-mails.

Problems with company computers are best solved by company support personnel.
