I had installed Outook 2003 and the conntector for Domino\Lotus notes.
Everytime I open outlook I recieve the error "could not find specified file".
After i "ok" the message Outlook opens. Has anyone seed this before?

I am using Outlook 2003 sp3 and Lotus Notes 6.5. I did have it working on at
one time before but my machine has been reimaged. I think I had to add
something from IBM's site but have had no luck finding it again. There are no
errors to be reported in the Event log after I open Outlook.

You need to have Notes installed and properly configured before installing
the Connector.

Notes is properly installed and configured. Notes was my primary email client
and I hate it, so I installed the Outlook Connector. There was and still are
not problems using the Notes client.

What version of Office 2003 are you using?

For some reason I've found the Domino connector works fine with my SP2
installs but NOT with my SP3 installs.

There is... and has been for a long time now... a problem with olconn2.exe. A
security patch broke it. "If" it was installed and configured before KB892843
it should work. Now you really have to uninstall Office SP3, turn off auto
updates, install it, then rerun the patches. Even at that it would be better
for them to just upgrade the connector to install after the patches are
installed and (forward thinking here) make it compatible with Domino 7 and 8.

MY question to Microsoft is why they won't either fix it or issue a new
version that works with Outlook2003 and 2007? Surely if they want users to
use Outlook they would fix this. I have tried the IBM version called DAMO
(Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook) and it was really flakey.
