Outlook Connector 0x80070057, One or more parameter values are inv

I'm getting the dreaded "Sending reported error (0x80070057) 'Could not
complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid". This
happens for my live.com account only.

There is no indication what parameters are invalid. It is occuring with my
live.com account only. There are no stuck messages in the outbox. Everything
seems to work except that Server Status for Outlook connector frequently
reports that the calendar is not connected. Sometimes it is, sometimes it
isn't. Send/Receive produces the error and the Server Status for the
calendar turns to Error.

Here's what the detailed report shows:

Time: 1/26/2009 1:56:45 PM
Error in Mail
Error with Send/Receive.
Look for a log in the Sync Issues folder.

Time: 1/26/2009 2:06:54 PM
Error in Calendar
Network operation failed

Time: 1/26/2009 2:06:54 PM
Error in Calendar
Synchronization error.

Yet my messages are going through and I'm able to receive messages.

The Outlook Connector is quickly becomming the Outlook Disconnector. I had
little to no problems until being forced to upgrade to 12.1 of the OLC. Now
I've encountered many problems.

Anybody know where the "Sync Issues" folder is since Microsoft developers
couldn't include that juicy morsel of information in the so-called
"detailed" report?

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook?
Disable this integration and try again.

It sounds like you have upgraded your original connector account. See if
removing it, restarting Outlook and then adding it back in solves your
issue.

In addition to the above, you could reset your send/receive settings by
renaming your srs-file to .old.
You can find it in the same folder as outcmd.dat described here;

As for the detailed logs;
You can find it in your Folder List. Switch your Navigation to Folder List
Navigation and click on the Sync Issues folder. The root contains the logs,
the subfolders contain items which had an error upon syncing. You may want
to check your on-line mailbox if those items are actually there.

I have the same problem since being upgraded. Have you found a solution?

I uninstalled version 12.0.6 and installed 12.1, and the problem didn't go
away. They I checked the version again and it was 12.0.6. I have gone back
to the Microsoft site and it says 12.1 but installs 12.0.6. Very strange.
