Outlook closes when I minimise

Hello
When I try to minimize or if I click on the taskbar icon for outlook 2003 it
causes it to close. Why?
 
Are you sure that it closes? (Use Task Manager to check if it is really
closed). Is it perhaps minimizing to the system tray?
 
That's exactly what it was. Why did it do that?
