outlook closes slowly which throws off my profile box

I have 3 profiles, and when I open outlook it goes to a profile choice box. I
choose the profile I want and then go to that profile in outlook. However
when I close outlook and do not wait for a period of time, the next time I go
to outlook, it goes direct to the last profile and skips the profile choice
box. Once this happens, it is stuck on that profile no matter howl ong I wait
until I reboot. Refresh doen't workalt/contol/delete doesn't work either to
correct the problem .
 
It sounds like Outlook is not exiting properly
Next time you close Outlook, bring up the Task Manager, Processess Tab,
check for outlook.exe and end it
 
Version of Outlook?
Are all updates installed?
Do you have it configured to empty deleted items on close?

Do you have addins keeping it open? Make sure Outlook is not listed in Task
Manager, Processes tab a few minutes after you close it. If it is, figure
out why it's running. See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.asp.
