Outlook changes Screen Resolution

I posted this to the Outlook group (as did someone else), but nobody seemed
to have an answer as I got no reply. Let's see if the smart Windows folks can
solve this mystery...

Every time I open Outlook (2000)my screen, resolution changes to 640x480.
When I close Outlook, it restores the screen size. I've changed it in display
settings several times, but it always goes back to 640x480 once I open
Outlook.

Sounds like it's opening in Safe Mode. Outlook has that capability.
I'm just guessing and trying to give you a clue to look up. I don't have an
answer.

repair Outlook?

R-click the shortcut, click Properties, pick Compatibility tab, UNcheck
the offending boxes.
