Outlook "Can't Solve this one'

After reading an email in outlook and it changes to "read" the email can no
longer be found in the inbox. I've checked the "Auto Archive" Settings and
they are off...I even contected Dell and they couldn't figure it out.

Check that your View is not set to Unread Messages....
