OUTLOOK (CANT RECEIVE)

JUST TONIGHT I CAN NOT RECEIVE MY EMAILS THROUGH OUTLOOK EXPRESS RUNNING
VISTA.... WINDOWS ASKS FOR LOGIN AND PASSWORD WHICH I PUT IN AND DOES NOT
WORK..CHANGED IT AND STILL CAN NOT RECEIVE MY MAIL...CAN SEND BUT DOES NOT
RECEIVE...CAN ANYONE HELP ON THIS?

Outlook is not the same as Outlook Express, which is not the same as Windows Mail.
You need to be more exact about which email program you are using, so we can
give you accurate advice.

I am having the same problem. I can not send or receive my E-mails. I keep
getting a request for my log on. I had Best Buy Geek Squad load my E-mail
connection when I purchased a new desk Top back in Sept and this has never
happened before. When they put in the Log on and Password they mark for the
system to remember it. I do not know what they used as the Log on or
Password. Could it just be that the server is down?
I have Microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail.
Can you help me?

messages and after message one comes through,I get an error message for EACH

If you can't remember your email username and password, you will have
to call your mail provider and ask them for help.

This newsgroup supports only Vista's Windows Mail email program.
Outlook Express won't run on a Vista computer. If you really meant
Outlook Express, you are in the wrong newsgroup.

I have a problem, My outlook express was working jsut fine with my Vista.
Then it started to ask me my password, which i know and it keep popping up
asking for it. I can not check, send or recieve my email.

YOU'RE RIGHT OLD HABITS.....WINDOWS MAIL IN VISTA... NOT OUTLOOK!
HOWEVER... I PUT IN A NEW PASSWORD IN MY SERVER , SHUT DOWN, INSTALLED NEW
UPDATES AND NOW IT IS NOT ASKING FOR LOGINS ANYMORE...NOT SURE WHAT EXACTLY
WORKED BUT I CAN RECEIVE AND SEND EMAILS THROUGH WINDOWS MAIL! "HAPPY
HOLIDAYS"
