Cant receive mail

After my computer would not start properly i can not receive mail but i can
still send mail, a box keeps popping up asking for user name and password,
ive tried putting this in, where can i find my password and user name?
This is the error message that i keep getting

Account: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92receiving

If you have forgotten your username and password, you will need to
contact your mail provider, Optus.
