Outlook cannot download msg from server. Only download
the descriptor.

Somebody pls help on this issue pls

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of mail account?

my outlook is "outlook xp" and is a "imap account"

You'll need to go to Tools -> Send/Receive -> Send/Receive Settings ->
Define Send/Receive Groups... and edit the settings for your IMAP account.
You need to select each folder you want full items for and check the
"Download complete item including attachments" box.
