Outlook calendar

I seem to have lost all of my calendar entries previous to January 1, 2008
except for those that recur yearly like birthdays. Is there any way to
retrieve this information? I am using Office Basic Edition 2003 and have been
synching with a Blackberry Curve. I am thinking the problem may have occurred
when I received a replacement Blackberry in January and I synched it for the
first time. All of my contact information seems to be intact in my address
book.

You may have turned on the Autoarchive function. Old meetings are probably
moved to a new file called archive.pst. Search for it and make sure to
include hidden files in the search.

When you find it, from within Outlook use | File | Open | Outlook data file
and browse to it. Then you can drag the old meetings from the Calendar in
Archive.pst back to your normal Calendar - or leave them where they are but
at least have access to them.

In addition to what Judy said, I've seen posts that indicate that the
Blackberry might have performed the deletion for you. Instead of ignoring
past events, it deletes them and, consequently, when you sync, it deletes
the Outlook events that correspond.
