Outlook calendar label names can't be edited using Connector?

After you install the Outlook Connector, you can no longer edit appointment
labels. You can still use labels, but when you edit the label names, they
revert back the original names the next time you sync with Hotmail.

This seems to be a bug. If the Connector allows labels to be used inside of
Outlook, you should be able to edit the names.

Not to detract from your suggestion, but much of what you can do with a Live
Mail account is controlled by the Live Mail server. I suspect this is one of
them. Another example is that you're limited to 1,000 contacts in the Live
Mail contacts folder. Outlook itself doesn't have that limitation.

Thanks for the reply Brian . . . I am aware of the 1K limitation on contacts,
but still believe that the calendar entries in Outlook (the ones that sync
with Hotmail Live) should have a label edit function inside of Outlook. The
labels and names are there and being used by Outlook, you just can't edit
them. Somehow, Outlook is getting the label name info from somewhere . . . I
just want the ability to edit them.

The label names are the ones I was using before I downloaded the Connector.
Wonder if I uninstall the Connector, change the label names in Outlook and
then reinstall the Connector if the calendar will then use the new names?

Can't hurt to try, but I suspect it won't work.
