Outlook Calendar appointment limit

I have been told there is a limit to the number of appointments Outlook
calendar can store. Basically, I want to be able to use Calendar as a
whereabouts list for a number of people, but can only see as many as 20
entries when i have appointments spanning multiple days.
A friend has told me that if I create more than the 20 I can see that
Outlook will start deleting the others....
Is this true? If so, how can I get round it?

There is no such limit but the space required for that amount can be limited
so not all "all day appointments" will be shown.
Why are you making "all day appointments" for that anyway?
Why not connect to the Calendar of the other person?
