Outlook... Cacked?

I'm in trouble(?) I had some problems with importing a
large Contacts folder into Outlook (I learned later one
loads from hard disk, not cdrom. Good news so far).

In the process of trying to fix that, though,I downloaded
something called FRONTPAGE from Microsoft which I guess
is an add on to Outlook, but it did not complete
installation, because I can't track down my XP cdrom,
which it seems to need to complete. Therefore, I kept
getting messages to complete before Outlook opened. (It
was sort of saying... Help Me... Help me...).

In trying to get rid of this, I went to Add/Delete
Programs, sure enough found a reference to Frontpage, and
hit "delete". It did... along with Outlook and all my
saved contacts, email, etc. with it.

Where did this all go? Am I out of luck here? How can I
get back my good old Outlook with what was already in it?
FYI I have not yet turned off computer from when this
disaster happened.

Most grateful for any help here. Thanks. Diz.

You dont mention the version of OL.
I'm also assuming you mean Outlook and not Outlook Express.
Frontpage is a completely separate App. It can be obtained as a standalone
App or with certain of The Office suite versions. It has nothing to do with
OL
By download I assume you mean install from cd?
If you had the MS Office suite installed yr Add/Remove dialogue should have
only referenced this, not Frontpage
So *exactly* what cd were you trying to install from?
Assuming you had/have the Office suite on yr pc you will need to reinstall
or repair yr Office installation.
You may need the installation Key Code, possibly yr WinXP disk
Of course if using WinXP you could allways use system restore - see help if
unsure.
In any case yr mail data will not have been lost, its all contained in a
*.pst file - this is a hidden file.
