outlook blocking attachments

Outlook 2003 has started blocking email enclosures, I can open attached files
but not emails that are being forwarded. I am currently forwarding them to a
yahoo acocunt when someone forwards an email.
 
Are you talking about attached .msg files? If you're using Google Desktop
Search, that's the culprit. Either disable the integration with Outlook or
upgrade to the latest version.
