Outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe attachment

Does anyone know how to eliminate the message below?
'outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe attachment'

I've saved web links in here (from MS as a matter of fact). Now I cannot
open them. I've found nothing in the KB.

Hey neo, I actually did that before I made this post, to no avail. Here is
what I have in my registry:

String: Level1Remove : values: .htm; .html; .asp; .aspx; .url

The link you gave me suggested placing a PERIOD before each extenstion which
was done as well. Then the infamous MS reboot and still no go.

The only other thing is there is an Entry for Level, which is 3. I Tried 1
and 2 (again according to docs on sites). Also, we have an Exchange server,
but no policies have been set to disable extenstions etc.

The reason for this madness is that we constantly post htm and html docs
into a public folder so they can be accessable from anywhere (i.e. OWA etc).

Any other ideas???

Yup tried removing spaces as well.

remove the spaces between the extensions or get attachment options so you
don't have to mess with the registry directly.

it should be: .exe;.pif;.url

go with ken slovak's attachment options and then take a look at the key.
i've generally had no issues adding the level1remove under outlook 2000
(SP3) or outlook 2002/2003. Only thing I can think of at this point is a
minor typo in the registry key or using the wrong key location.

location given at the slipstick site.

Which version of Outlook? You're probably better off getting Attachment
Options from www.slovaktech.com than trying to edit it yourself, or use
Chilton Preview. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm for
