Outlook Beta 2007 Search not working

I previously had good working of "search" and "instant search" in outlook
beta 7. Then lost all function with error message "outlook cannot perform
your search". I have used diagnostic tool, and cleanup from tools, and
repair from add and remove programs, but no luck. what do i do?

1. I want to add that I experienced the same problem as nachosdead wrote about.
2. Also, the Advanced Find option appears randomly - at times its not there.
3. At times, Outlook Beta 7 automatically begins to perform Messages From
Sender
4. When Instant Search and Advanced Find does initiate a search - in the
sense that icon displays as if a search is being performed, it retrieves no
results.

First I get the messge:
"The instruction at 0x600db609 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory
could not be read."

well as of today now Im having the same problem. The search function no
longer works and this is not good.
