Outlook BCM

I have Outlook 2002 and only use it for the address book. Many people have
told me to get ACT! 2008 for my business. How does MS Office / Outlook 2007
with Business Contact Manager compare to ACT! 2008 in functionality? This
will be in a single-user/non-networked environment. Some features of
interest to me in ACT! are: 1) e-mails sent are logged into the ACT! notes
history, 2) ability to create HTML templates for e-mails, 3) mail merge, 4)
sync with my Palm device, 5) maintain a library of documents for e-mail
attachments, 6) set up Groups & Sub-Groups of people . . . and a bunch more
I'm sure. Is there a feature/funtionality comparison chart that you have?

who is telling you to get act? probably people using Version 6 and older.
what act says about outlook integration and what they actually deliver are
two different things. you had better do your homework on this one, or you
may end up getting bit.
