Outlook BCM Remote Database Managment

I have setup my database on my SBS2003R2 server using the BCM Database Tool
and can access the database from my system and the previous owner of the
database. All others cannot access it.

I gave the users access permission with the BCM database tool and checked
every other setting I can think of or have found researching this on the web.
Today I gave one person admin rights on the server and they could then
access it. But the previous owner “also where the database use to be
located†is just a standard domain user as all others.

Admin owns the database.

Any suggestions?

In the BCM sharing wizard, are shared users listed correctly with
domainname\username.

One of those users could try accessing the database from their client
using osql or sqlcmd. That may give you a better error message than
BCM.
