Outlook automatically deletes email

I am using Outlook 2000 on an XP machine. After downloading new email from
my ISP, reading each message and advancing to the next one using the "next
item" button, getting to the end of the new messages, and going back to the
"Inbox", all my new messages have been deleted. They are not in the
"deleted" folder. I usually read them and then move the ones I want to keep
to a different folder. Where are they going and how can I keep this from
happening?

Look at your View settings. Make sure it's set to All Messages, not just
unread ones.
 
Thanks but that didn't work for me. I still get each email deleted
automatically. Any other ideas??
