Can you tell us a little about your DSL connection? For example, is it a
PPOE account? (PPOE = you have to start a program first and sign-on with a
user id/password before you can surf the internet) Do you have a router
that lets you share a single IP address with many machines? Are you wired
to a linksys router/hub or are you wireless?

Straight DSL connection, one machine, when i turn on the computer i am
automatically on line. The wire comes from my phone line to my dsl modem from
there to the computer. I can send large emails through the verizon account,
so i know there is no problem with the dsl, this is an outlook problem as
far as i can tell. I hope this answers what you have asked of me.? thanks
for helping

Any type of security program installed that scans outbound email? (e.g.
Norton Internet Security 2005)

Thank you MVP, AFTER YOU YELLED AT ME, you just happened to be correct. I had
to up my time out setting as refered to by you. For I am new here and deeply,
Truly apologize for MULTIPOSTING. IF the instructions were a bit clearer, I
probably would not have offended you and the others by all the multi's. As a
Rookie of this sight, I THOUGHT my questions were actually going to different
places for others to review as well. The instructions posted here for this
usage leave a lot to be desired IF one is to be scolded by another. If we
were all as smart as you, there would be no need for this sight or any others
like it.
SO once again I apaologize and THANK YOU FOR FIXING MY PROBLEM.

Where Do I Find -> See your answer in microsoft.public.office.setup
Sorry I have no clue where this is located and I am not multiposting
anymore, I haven't since you yelled at me for not knowing what to do
Best Regards, (e-mail address removed)

No, I did not yell at you. If I had, you would have certainly known it. I
simply advised you to not multi-post. You, however, did yell at me by using
all caps in your admonition.
