Outlook - Archiving recently imported files

I recently imported a large file from OLE to OL, and now I cannot run
Archive on them. The reason is the "modified" date has been set to the date
of the import, and the archive process acts on messages that are 6 months
older than the Sent or Received or Modified date, whichever is the later.
So the archive process will not work until 6 months AFTER the date they were
imported, which is the latest of the 3 dates.

Question is then, besides waiting 6 months, is there a way to change the
"modified" date ?

Unfortunately, no. You could always set a view to either sort by date or
filter out items newer than a certain date, and then manually drag them to
the Archive file...you'd need to open the Archive file using File | Open, so
that it shows in the Folder List.
