Outlook-Appointments goto Deleted Items folder

Hi,

When we accept an appointment, it is updated in the
Calender, but the mail goes directly to the Deleted Items
folder.
We tried changing the delivery settings.
There are no rules are Filters affecting it.

The mail comes to the Inbox fine but after accepting the
appointment it goes to the Deleted Items folder.

The version is Outlook 2000 SP3.

We also get the message that it was unable to update
Free/Busy data.
It goes thru an Exchange server.

The size of the Personal Folder is not large.

Thank you for your help.

Yours,
Prasanna G

There is a setting that causes the meeting to be deleted after
it is processed (accepted or declined).

Open your TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS
Click the E-MAIL OPTIONS... button
Click the TRACKING OPTIONS... button

Check all of these options. I think you will
find your answer there.

For your Free/Busy problem:

Open Outlook using the "...\CleanFreeBusy" switch.
Info on how to do this can be found on technet (see link below)

OL2000: Additional Command-Line Switches

/CleanFreeBusy Cleans and regenerates free/busy information.
