outlook and outlook express

Guest

I have had recent trouble using my Email charter.net account which I access
through Outlook express. To fix this problem in order to receive and send
email i have gone through a step by step instruction to get it to work via a
Charter voice tree help number. Charter does not support outlook express.
This phone tree worked a few times but now is not working . They said I
should call oulook and ask.

In fustration I have deleted the icons on my desktop for outlook express and
outlook.

Isnt it easier just to use mail.charter.net or hotmail.com or yahoo.com
instead of going through outlook
express???????????????????????????????????????????????

should I delete the outlook express icons on my desktop. Any
advice/warnings/tips?

Thanks

Janet:)

Hi - Outlook Express questions should be addressed to the OE groups -
presuming OE6, that's
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress.

Make sure you actually describe the problem in detail when you post, because
you haven't provided enough information for anyone to go on in this one.

Or see http://www.insideoe.com/

For Outlook, which is part of Office, try posting (and again, with
sufficient detail for someone to help you) in
microsoft.public.outlook....and make sure you include your version & service
pack level of MS Outlook/Office.
To fix this problem

....which you haven't described.... ;-)

You can delete whatever icons you wish, and use whatever mail client you
wish, I find it peculiar that you say they don't support Outlook Express
given the link posted by Sooner Al - what they may be telling you is that
they don't support Outlook, which is an entirely different program.

Again, if you can't get help from them, post a detailed message in the OE
newsgroup.
