Outlook and live mail

hey,

I have a hotmail/live mail account and recently decided to start using
outlook instead of live mail. I downloaded the update that allows outlook to
access livemail, unfortunately, outlooks jsut brings up a message verytime i
try adding my hotmail account saying: "access to hotmail via outlook and
outlook express now requires a subscription. please sign up at
join.msn.com/general/Email". But there is no subscription or registration at
that website... please help
