Outlook and hotmail

When I send e-mail to people with hotmail addresses takes
forever to be deliver (3 to 4 hours). If I send e-mails
to people with non-hotmail addresses they get it right
away. To make sure it was not the problem with my friends
hotmail accounts I sent them e-mails from my office and
they were delivered within one minute. Where do I need to
change in Outlook to fix my problem?

Change ISP

Once the message has left your mailbox it's out on the net trying to find a
way to the targetted mailbox. If your ISP (or any in between) has bad router
configuration or a slow mailserver it could be that your message ges stuck
for a while or takes the long way around to the targetted mailbox. There is
nothing you can do really besides making sure that your networkconfiguration
is correct and contacting your ISP to report your problem.

Thanks for the information but this doesn't happen if I
send e-mails to non hotmail addresses they get delivered
right away. this way I know that it is not the ISP router
configuration.

This could still be the case as your ISP (and everyone in between) needs to
locate the Hotmail servers. If a specific entry for the Hotmail servers is
from this would cause a delay. Since non-hotmail addresses don't ned to
resolve the wrongly listed Hotmail server they get deliverd straight away.
