outlook again

how can i make outlook xp to open in a system tray (near clock) when windows
starts?? i tried to make a shortcut (which i set up to open minimized), and
i put that shortcut in my startup folder but it doesnt work! when i reboot
windows outlook starts opened! what shall i do??

I believe that the following will allowyou to minimize Outlook to the
system tray. Now as to whether or not it will START minimized I don't
know, but this should, at least, get you 1 step closer.

you need to add a dword of MinToTray to the registry key found here:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences]
the value of MinToTray should = 1

Remember to always use caution when editing the registry - screwing
something up in there can SERIOUSLY fubar your system.

You can only minimize to the system tray once Outlook has opened.
