I've searched online and in the forum and can not find this, so I'm not sure
if it can be done.
What I'm trying to do is... I have a lot of client contacts, some very old
but I still need to keep them. What I would like to do is somehow make a
seperate folder or category for my clients, business, personal and
entertainment contacts. I don't want to go through my long list of clients
(and all the rest of the other catagories) everytime I need to find a
personal contact. Also I am trying to sync my Razr V3c phone and it is
downloading all the contacts, even the very old stuff, because it is in my
outlook address book. Does anyone know if I put these addresses in
categories(or however you suggest to do it) will it still download to my Dell
Axim X50v and Moto Razr V3c as catagories as well so I don't have to go
through all of them every time?
I hope this makes sense. Thanks for all the help.

If you move the contacts to another Contacts folder then they probably won't
download to your handheld device.

If you leave them in the Contacts folder and then assign a different
category to them then they will still download. However depending on the
device you can choose to see only certain categories e.g. my IPAQ easily
filters the contacts display to show one category only if I want.

The easiest thing to do is test it on your device.

Either shift ONE CONTACT to another folder or assign him/her to a category.
Sync your device with your computer.
Check the results to see if it doing what you want.
