Outlook Address Book Sorting/Display

(My Outlook Address Book is sorting by the Display Name (John Smith) rather
than by the File Name (Smith, John). My address book is my contacts. The
contacts are sorted by File Name. I want the Address Book (when I seach for
an email address) to be sorted by Last Name. It is much easier looking for a
Smith, rather than John.

You didn't mention which version of Outlook you are using, so here are the
steps for Outlook 2002 (part of Office XP) and Outlook 2003.

Open Outlook. Tools > Email Accounts > View/Change existing directories and
address books > highlight Outlook address book > Properties. Radio button
at bottom.
