Outlook Address Book question

R

Roger Bonine

We are testing Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 prior to rollout, and have
noticed that, when typing a group name in and hitting CTRL/K, the Office field
is searched in addition to the Name field. Is there any way to turn this off,
or make Office matches appear lower in the results list than Name matches?

For example, if I have 200 employees in my Podunk office, and I have a group
called "Podunk Accounting", if I type "Podunk" into the To: line and hit
CTRL/K, all of the Podunk office employees appear before the group does, so I
have to scroll through them to get to what I want. Ideally, I'd like to tell
the search to search only the "Name" field in the global address book if
possible - our users won't search for specific people by office name, only for
groups.

Thanks for any help you could provide.
