Outlook 97 Calendar

My operating system is XP,and during a problem with a
program i restored to a early date. When i did this i lost
the appointment on the calendar. Is the a way to find this
information?

If you restored to an earlier Restore Point, no, since using a Restore Point
puts back all of the files saved on that date, overwriting the current
files. The whole point of restoring is to erase the changes you made.

Try retoring the prior state of the machine, copy the PST to a CD or
something, and then go back to the Restore Point. Put the copied PST back
on your hard drive and remove the "Read Only" attribute. You should then be
able to use it.
