Outlook 2k reminder length

M

Mike W.

Hi y'all,

I'm running Outlook 2k on Windows XP Pro.

When I set an appointment in the calendar, the longest reminder that I can
set is two days. If I set an appointment for Monday, I will not see any
reminder on Friday.

Is there a way to get a reminder further out than two days?

Thanks,

Mike W.

Diane,

It is not a recurring appt.

I'm not sure what you are asking in your second question.

I cannot select a date for a reminder in Outlook 2k (at least I don't know
how), I only have a drop down list of options from a few minutes to two
days. Two days is not long enough to get a reminder if the appointment is on
Monday morning.

Thanks for your help,

Mike W.

Does it work if you type 2 weeks in the field? Or 3 days or any other time?
(I forget if that field accepts dates typed in 4d (for 4 days) format.)

Have you tried typing in the reminder field? Try typing "3 days" or "36
hours" in the field.
