Outlook 2207 HTTP New Mail Notification

Is it possible to some how have Outlook indicate when new mail has arrived
in my MSN InBox? It will provide a pop-up notification for a pop3 account
where the emails are delivered to my plain InBox but not for mail that
arrives in my MSN InBox.

Since rules can't be applied to HTTP mail, I haven't been able to figure out
a way to move the mail automatically from the MSN (HTTP) InBox to my plain
Inbox.

Thanks.

I believe MSN Messenger will alert you when it finds in a poll of your
account that there are new e-mails pending there. However, I gave up
using the instant prattle clients a long time ago so I could be wrong.
Outlook can't do it but MSN Messenger should.

I don't like Messenger either. First not many of my friends have instant
messaging, and secondly I don't like being bothered at odd times. I'd be in
a sign off or busy status when ever it was running. Right now I have it set
to not sign on automatically.

I think there are applications available which notify you when an email
arrives. These are little critters which sit on your system tray and popup a
notification...

I dont know of any way of getting Outlook to indicate new mail..
