Outlook 2007

In Outlook 2007 new e-mails have been downloaded when i open the programme.
In Outlook 2003 i could watch the programme downloading the e-mails and had a
good overview of the new e-mails recieved. How do i set Outlook 2007 so it
behave like outlook 2003 in the manner described. E-mails are stored on a
server, that is exchange is not used.

Umm if your email is stored on a server then it's highly likely that you ARE
using exchange....

No, we dont use Exchange, only have clicked the facility, save copy of
e-mail on server and each user have a specific library for the e-mails.
