Outlook 2007 Won't Open

Outlook won't open no matter how I try and open it. ie short cuts or going
to outlook and opening that way. However it does give me an option after
logging off/rebooting as to whether to open outlook in safe mode or regular
mode. After I get done with outlook I will close it but keep the pc up.
After several hours usually 8 hrs it won't open. I have gone in and ran the
diagnosis from micirosoft.com and went into options and tried the repair
feature and still have issues when trying to open outlook. I am running XP
Pro with 2 gb of ram. Does anyone have a solution?
