outlook 2007 won't load after "msncon32.dll" error

I installed office 2007 and it has completely wiped out my outlook 2003. I am
getting the message like, "msncon32.dll add-in cannot be loaded and has been
disabled by Outlook, contact manufacture for update or unistall add-in" .
I am not sure what add-in is related to the file specified. I had my old
outlook connected to my msn email account and I think that has something to
do with it. I had additional personal folder that are not on my emilmail
account online. Thank you in advance.
Outlook 2007 will not open at all after giving the error message, can anyone
help?

Have you checked if the MSN Connector works with OL2007? It may not since
OL2007 isn't fully complete yet...

If you have an MSN Premium or Outlook Live account and want to try to get it to work with Outlook 2007, you can download a new version of the Outlook Connector from http://g.msn.com/0CR1033/3.

For best results, either create a new mail profile or delete the old MSN account and create a new one after you install the new connector.

I did not check to see if it worked with OL2007. I did not think I had to
disccnnect before installing OL2007. I thought the program would use what was
useful and ignore what was not. I also think Microsoft should have given a
warning to others who are connected to an "MSN email account" if they knew
there would be this kind of problem.
I also looked for the "msncom.dll" file to delete it and it does not appear.
I now have no Outlook at all with has become a lifeline for business.

I am still getting the file name wrong, it is "msncom32.dll", I delete msn
connector and still has the same problem.

I got Outlook started. I went to control panel, mail and deleted the mail
account for my msn account. Outlook opened and I will start to experiment
with it. By the way the file name that was giving the trouble was
"msncon32.dll".
I hope this also helps someone else.

Have found a fix for being unable to use Outlook Connect to access Hotmail after their update yesterday 14/07/12. After a lot of research and crap i stumbled accross a solution similiar to a problem with itunes udate. It is a permissions problem with in Windows 7. The folder located under c:programfiles\commonfiles\system\MSMAPI you will find if you have show all hidden files etc has a padlock. You need to go to permisions when you right click the folder and add your administration account. Once done go inside the folder and on the MSNCON32.dll you will need to do the same. I went to the trust centre in Outlook and addins then in the inactive addins i selected the Outlook Connector and clicked the go button checked the box next to it and then ok. It was now in the active list. Close Outlook. Then from here i uninstalled the Outlook Connector then went in to the c:\users\(username)\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook and from here deleted hotmail account, Outlook.sharing.xml.obi and renamed the extend.dat from here i rebooted came back right clicked install for Outlook connector and choose as administrator and once installed opened outlook and Outlook connector was on the tool bar i checked the trust centre addins and it was activated then i clicked the toolbar and set it up and wholar it worked. All back to normal.
