Outlook 2007 + Windows Live, Contacts and calendar

Hello,
I can't believe that the following is impossible:
-Keep all contacts on my PC syncronize (Live Messenger/Live Mail desktop and
Outlook)
-Import the contact data from an puplic MSN/Live ID profil directly in the
contact card from Outlook (Adress, comments,...)
-Keep the puplic calendar from Hotmail/Live ID synchronize with an outlook
contact.

Is this really impossible?
I search on many websites for some future plans about this, but I can't find
anything. Or is there a solution and I overlook something?
 
I'm also interested in this and do not see a way of doing it. Is there
something we're missing?
 
Just curious if you guys had any luck tracking down an answer to this?
I am currently using Live Mail Desktop and Live Messenger but was
wanting to start using Outlook 2007 if it would work like you described.
