Outlook 2007, unreadable text

My incoming emails in Outlook 2007 have text that is light yellow in color
and unreadable. This is particularly for email addresses and web addresses.
Also instead of a image or graphics there is a link to the website that is
light yellow.
I have sent myself an email in HTML, with the email address and web address
in blue. When the email comes in the addresses are light yellow.
I have not been able to correct this.
