Outlook 2007- Themes or stationary

Can anyone help me regarding themes or stationary for Outlook 2007.

I found it very easy to create stationary in the old versions of MS Office,
however in the 2007 version it doesn't appear to give much in the way of
editing features. They mention that you can edit a Word Theme, but I can't
figure out how to get my logo/image in there.

I used to create a simple stationary by using a small image with about 13%
transparency to give the appearance of a watermark in the background, and
then tile it over the whole page. Any image could be used (such as a
company logo), and it created a really basic stationary for me to use. This
task appears almost impossible in the new version, although the solution is
probably right in front of me.

Even if I have to learn a new way to use the themes instead of stationary, I
don't mind. All I want is a plain page with my image tiled over it.

PLEASE, can anyone help me out here?

Regards,

Rod.

There are some groovy stationary themes online that you can download. They
download as email templates so you just fill in and click to send - hope that
helps

Hi Electricgeisha,

Thanks for the tip, however I want to be able to create my own
stationary/theme from an image I have saved on my PC. I thought I had it
last night (very early this morning actually while half asleep), but when I
send it to anyone, they can't see the stationary/theme. Maybe some security
setting in Outlook 2007 is preventing the image from being sent.......I have
no idea !

Can anyone help me. This is driving me nuts, although I was probably most
of the way there anyway.

Regards,

Rod.

Hey Rod,
I had the same problem with Outlook 2007. I constructed an e-mail
stationary template in Publisher 2007. I then type and send my message
from Publisher. The person who receives the message will see all the
fonts, hyperlinks etc......

Hope that will help until the Outlook issue is resolved.
