Outlook 2007 Tasks View Hang

Has anyone run into this problem?

1. Click on Tasks bar
2. Change view to "To-Do List"
3. Click on "Due Date" column heading
4. Scroll down in list
5. Start Date, Reminder Time, Due Date entries populate with "None"
6. CPU goes to 100% and outlook hangs.

I'm also finding similar behavior just by using the To-Do Bar in the main
view.

Hi Tim,

Can you reset the view for the to-do bar and see if you still have the
problem? To do this, right-click on the arrange by field in the to-do
bar, select custom and then reset current view.
If this doesn't help, deactivate all your add-ins and test again.
Please let us know whether this is working for you or not.

Hi Patrick,

I tried what you suggested, and here are my results:
1. Use To-Do List view
2. Reset current view
3. Scroll up/down works fine

4. Click on "Due Date" column heading
5. Scroll down in list hangs Outlook & CPU goes to 100%.

6. Disabled all COM Add-ins, except for "Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin"
(couldn't, without hanging Outlook; I'll bug this one later)
7. Click on Tasks bar
8. Made sure still in "To-Do List" view
9. Reset current view
10. Scroll up/down works fine

11. Click on "Due Date" column heading
12. Outlook hangs & CPU at 100%

Works worse than before, seem to have eliminated Add-ins. More suggestions?

As you said you'll bug this later, I assume you are in the official tech
beta? If you are, you should be posting in the beta newsgroups and
definitely bug this 100% issue.

Yep, I'm in the official tech beta. And I have also posted this in the beta
newsgroup. I'm posting in this newsgroup also since there's a wider
audience.
