The Spell Checker (for outgoing messages and Word documents) does not appear
to display the list of suggested words correctly.

Any settings to change to make this work? Has this been reported to MS?

Define "not correctly"
What are you doing?
What behavior do you get?
What behavior did you expect?

Very well:

When the spell checker finds a suspect word it

- opens the spell checker window, displays the suspect word in red, but does
not show anything in the lower pane (suggested words/spellings).
- I can click the mouse in the upper pane, but do not see a cursor. I must
click specifically on a location in the suspect word (no cursor still,
typically, but NOT consistently); I can then edit the word.
- When I've corrected the suspect word in the upper pane it turns the text
blue (but will do so whether or not the new spelling is rational).
- It may then show suggested spellings/words in the lower pane.
- I click "change", the upper pane shows the originally mis-spelled word in
red again, and then closes the box (and sends the email message if there are
no more suspect words).
- I need to open the email message from my Sent Items folder to make sure
that the correction was actually done.
