Outlook 2007 spell check problem

I installed Outlook 2007...I am currently running Windows XP with Word 2002.
Spell check doesn't work when emailing in Outlook. I've searched the blogs
here and elsewhere and tried everything and it still doesn't work. How can I
get Outlook 2007 to spell check properly? I am at my wits end and will dump
it if I can't resolve it.

Thanks in advance...

Office versions must match to use spell checker. You will have to upgrade all
of Office or use a third party spell checker.

Are you sure? I purchased the product from Dell (my PC is a Dell) and they
absolutely positively ASSURED me that I would have no problems just upgrading
Outlook.

In addition, if there is a known problem...why wouldn't Microsoft have say
something about it in the literature about Outlook 2007? Why would they sell
just Outlook 2007 if you need the whole Office suite to work?

I've searched Microsoft Outlook literature on this website and it says
nothing about needing to upgrade the whole suite...again, they are selling
just Outlook 2007 on this very website.

If you've read any of the other threads regarding this issue...there are
many of us out there who only upgraded Outlook and many have been able to
resolve he spell check issue.
