Outlook 2007 - Send/Receive from Exchange Server Failed

Running Outlook 2007 Beta 2 (in-place upgrade from 2003 SP2), Exchange 2003
SP1, Windows XPSP2.

I designated a local PST (2003 version) to be the default mail delivery
location. however, when I try to send/receive from Exchange, I get the
following error:

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server - Receiving' Reported error (ox80040102) :
'The requested operation cannot be perfomed on this account'

However, when I go to default to the OST, it works just fine.

Known issue for Beta 2. An Exchange account can't deliver to a PST file.

I was able to get around the problem by using Rules...

Tools -> Rules and Alerts -> New -> Check messages when they arrive ...
