Outlook 2007 Rendering problem / Codepage

Hello,
all my EMails are shown blank or only with one letter/special character, in
preview and an opend mail.
Only when i open the mail and change the codepage to any other codepage,
westeurope(ISO),UTF-8,japanes,russian, i can see the text.

Its NOT this virus scanner thing, because i can read incomming/outgoing
mails with my online email website, so the incooming /outgoing mails are ok.
And the same happend with never scanned existing Mails, so the virus scanner
is not the problem i think.

I Have the same problem, If i turn on auto preview i can see the text in the
top pannel and also when the message pop up shows i see it but when i open
the mail it is blank and when i send mail that again is blank. I can read
messages i have impported any ideas? dave@ lettergrapix.co.uk with any
suggestions please

what code page do the emails use normally?

Nice catch! I found one of those emails just right now in my inbox as
well. I could read the email before, but suddenly it shows it with a
single weird character and the content only reappears after changing the
code page. Definitely a bug. I bugged it.

Is it completely blank or does it contain one single (rather random)
character in the body?
If you don't have the single character, then I'd say you have a
different problem. Did you also disable your anti-virus program?

-Yes, only one single character,or a symbol character or blank this character
chnage randomly each time i see the Mail in the preview or open it.
-I can see only from 1-3 Mails from 100 the text. I have compare the
send/recived time, EMail service, Header fields via options, sorry i found no
differents.
-The Mails have different charsets, UTF-8, westeurope(windows, some SPAM
with kyrilich
-Open and Save the mails without text change nothing

Virussoftware ?
-For testing i have deinstall this and clean the registry.
-I can see the text in popups and this short preview inside the table view
-It happend with existing mails that was imported from OL2003
-When i send this mail to gmail or Hotmail i see the text
-i have ask a friend to make some Mails and send me this via ZIP, i unzp
this files and open it with Outlook, no changes, only one symbol.
-some friends tell me that the recived Mails ar ok.
So i ould realy surprised if this mistake come from the, now, non existing
virus scanner.

Sounds like the same bug. Does changing the codepage and then saving the
message solve your problem?
If Microsoft finds a workaround to this bug, I'll be sure to post a
message here.

No, remember, i cant see the text in preview, open the mail, no text. i
change the codepage, to whatever codepage i want, i can see the text. When i
save the mail with the changed codepagem voila display of text is gone.

My fault. I didn't test this sufficiently here. I see the same issue and
I don't see any way of resolving it permanently. Unless Microsoft comes
up with something, you and I will just have to live with it.
