Error Message every time I open Outlook:

"There was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders
may not appear."

I tried the fixes I found in this discussion group:
-cleanreminders & resetfolders, but it does not work, unless I am typing it
in wrong. Run... requires preciseness.
-stopped the reminder .wav sound
-deleted several reoccuring calendar items.

I still have the problem.

As well my Outlook 2007 does not display Tasks in the To-Do Bar or in Tasks
To-Do List. I get this error:

"The operation failed. An object could not be found."

Is this related to my Reminder error?

Please help.

You mean you did this already?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /cleanreminders

Did you try a repair on Office as well?

What mail account type(s) are you using? ...Simple, plain jane POP3. Only one.
When did it stop working for you? What changed in between? ...Since
installing Outlook 2007. Nothing else changed.
Do things work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode? ...Yes. Same problem.

Additionally you could try it with a clean mail profile;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm

....Read the above. Not sure this is the issue---creating a whole new
..pst---since it's just tasks & reminders that are affected.

Any other things I can check out?

A new mail profile is not the same as a new pst-file.
After an upgrade it is always good to recreate your mail profile.
In addition you can use scanpst.exe to check your pst-file for errors.

Roady,
I have the same problem as Steve and have tried all of your suggestions. The
only one that works is creating a new profile: however, I then lose
contection with all of my saved/archived emails. How do I connect the new
profile to the existing pst files.

PS This sounds like a serious flaw in Outlook. What is MS doing about a fix?

Thanks,

Use the Data Files tab when creating the new profile to add the existing
PSTs and remove the new PST created by the new profile process.
