Outlook 2007 Query builder on Citrix without WDS

I have Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 clients installed on Citrix servers.
It's a best practice for Citrix to not use cached mode for Outlook. I'm also
reluctant to install WDS on a Citrix server because of performance issues.
My users are complaining about the Query builder being grayed out. What
would be my best option to provide enhanced search to them in the above
situation?

You should take an external search tool for providing a powerful search for Outlook.
We also had big problems with WDS on our Citrix, there was very much Traffic and the server was very slow sometimes. By accident, we found the Outlook search-tool Lookeen, which works very good on our Citrix Server. It needs nearly no system ressources and it very fast. And it finds the things which are searched.
