Outlook 2007: Opening Multiple Calenders Automatically on Startup?

R

Rijan

I have a slightly strange problem I can't solve.
I have Outlook 2007 on a home machine [not on Exchange Server] with runs XP
Pro with 2 users.
We wanted to keep track of appointments on each others's calendar and
despite alot of effort have found no other way to do this than publish our
calendars to each other.
We then display the 2 calendars in overlay mode and it works fine.
BUT:
- on my log-in I can open Outlook, and when I click on "calendar" in
navigation both mine and other user calendar are ticked and displayed in
overlay [as I want]
But other user [Outlook is set to open automatically in Calendar view for
this user] it will only display 1 calendar and she has to tick to display my
shared calendar.

This defeats the purpose and this whole system was setup so that [primarily]
she could keep track mf my appointments with minimum fuss]. If I change
settings so that her outlook opens by default with my shared calendar it will
do that - but not display hers in overlay mode as well until it it ticked.

Why does this work for me and not her? Is it simly because Outlook opens in
Calendar for her and this can't handle opening the 2 together [whereas mine
opens in email]?

ALSO:
Is it possible for the To Do bar to display entries from a shared calendar?

Thanks

Does your wife have your calendar in her Favorites?

The To-Do list will only display items from your Outlook, not shared.

Sorry I don't understand - which Favourites option is there in Outlook for
her to put the calendar into?
I know I have done nothing different when I imported her shared calendar
than ticking the box next to it and both mine and shared open together
[not hers and the shared in her login though].

Hi
I would appreciate if you could please clarify what you mean about having my
calendar in her Favourites.
Thanks
