Outlook 2007 messages view in text when they should be in html

One of my users who is running Office 2007 has recently experienced email messages in Outlook coming in as text (only) when they should be in HTML. Her settings for outgoing messages are for HTML.

Others are using Office 2003 with Outlook 2007 and have not experienced the same problem.

Any ideas?

are you sure the sender is using HTML when they compose the message?

There is obviously an increasing number of people out there with Red x's
appearing in HTML E-Mails when there is an http:// inclusion.

There has to be a fault and MS ain't fixed it yet!

I have a similar post that went unanswered..my subscription to USAToday now
arrives in text when previously it was HTML. USAToday tells me my setting
is HTML. I read on the web that this is an error generated by using Word as
the editor, as Word does not correctly translate HTML. Is this the case?

Word's inability to render some HTML elements has nothing to do with the
newsletter not arriving as HTML. An antivirus scanner could be stripping the
HTML or you have Outlook set to read all mail as plain text. Probably a few
other things I'm forgetting.
