Outlook 2007 - Keeps asking for Password

Outlook 2007 keeps asking for the Network password on both manual & automatic
send/receive. My system is XP, I am using Office Enterprise 2007 and my
Internet provider is Tiscali.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I resolved two problems different ways.
1. Asks for password at opening, even though you set it up in the saved
settings: First the MS site tells you to look at the Send Receive settings in
Tools, Send Receive, Send/Receive Settings, Define Send/Receive Groups. They
tell you if you have two accounts set up to send/receive, it will ask you
twice for the password. So I created just one account to send/receive.
2. Asks for password over and over and over and is never happy... That one
got me for awhile. I even read someone's blog that he had to change the
registry, but mine was fine. Just as I was ready to re-install the whole darn
program, I got an idea that the password box would not be happy if my
password was wrong. All you see is dots, not the password. So I retyped it
and voila. Apparently it changed somehow. All of a sudden my inbox filled up
with all my mail backlogged!
