Outlook 2007 keeps asking for a password in Vista

John G - I have the same problem. Tried following your remedy. I'm asked
for "the name of server or web site" - what is this for Hotmail
(www.hotmail.com ?). And is my username just the first half of my email addr?

I have been searching for an answer for the constant requesting of
passwords in Outlook and also in Hotmail. I never had this issue
before. I have a brand new PC, with factory installed Vista Ultimate
and Office 2007 with Outlook 2007. It continually asks for a
password in Outlook and Hotmail. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you be more specific as to the information you put in each field? I
thought I had this problem fixed, after 5 phone calls and many hours on the
phone with AT&T support, but it just started up again this morning.
